1890s Melodia Roller Organ – Organette – Excellent Working. This roller organ is beautifully restored. The case is excellent and the stenciling is. This was the fanciest case made for the Melodia, which was produced by the Mechanical Orguinette Company in New York. It has brand new rubber drive rollers, and plays easily and sounds great. There are some very minor scratches which were taken care of in the restoration, and not visible without very close inspection. The stenciling is stunning. It comes with one paper roll. It also has the rewind crank, and rewinds easily. The label is complete and in excellent original condition. The only issues is it is missing one front foot, which is a simple dowel. I think the feet are a later addition. If you are looking for a Melodia, this is THE ONE. You will not find a cleaner, better sounding or prettier one.
