Last quarter 19th century. The case with ebonized finish and birds eye maple panel on the lid and with burled panels with string inlaid borders on the sides of the box. The music box is accompanied by three 11 cylinders and is fitted with a mandolin damper cast with foliate scrollwork and is played by a single comb. Mechanism also has a tune changer and repeat indicator. The original label is affixed to the interior of the lid. SIZE: 11 h x 30 l x 15 d.
