We tested the crank on the music box, and it functions well and plays the Disk clearly. This music box does have quite a bit of cosmetic damage: there are numerous areas on the exterior where the wood has chipped/peeled away, and there are quite a few areas where the wood is starting to fall of. There are also noticeable scratches, scuffs, and the picture on the inside of the box is fading. One of the feet on the bottom of the music box is missing.
