I bought this from a woman in her 70’s who said it used to be her mothers. It is obviously very old but this is not my field of expertise so I don’t know anything about them. I can not find a makers mark of any kind. The cylinder is behind glass so I can’t look on the sides for a name or number. It is old and a bit of a mess but seriously has a charm about it like no other. It is all wood with round ball feet. The inside lid has glass but it is cracked (see pics). The inside is decorated in old colored paper that is wrinkled, torn in spots…. And basically just old. There is no key. The box has an bunch of wear, dings, paint loss on edges, etc. I know it sounds like a lot but it is a wonderful old box. It measures 9 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ x 3 7/8. If it gets lost, damaged or stolen then I will do all I can to get the claim filed, etc…. I know WA is one state but not sure of the rest. This is just FYI.
