I have searched the web for these Gem Roller Organs and have found very few that are in such incredibly aged condition reminiscent of fine bottle of wine or an aged bottle of scotch. Over a thousand different rolls were produced which covered a broad selection of religious, military, operatic, and music-hall tunes that were popular during the late 1800s. Included in this listing are six. The unique history of this Organ. My uncle who is now 93 years old, bought this Roller Organ in Cremona Italy. It’s a small medieval town in northern Italy where he was born and spent his entire life. He came upon this organ at an antique flea market over 30 years ago. How it got there, no one knows. Since then he has displayed it in a temperature controlled room. These Italians really know how to take care of their antiques. He has asked me to sell it for him. Italian pensions are worse then American social security. So The Gem has made the trip back to its birth place and is up for sale. The photos speak for themselves.
