The taller is black and red and the smaller is yellow. Original felt and floral decoration. Pressed metal base with leaf scrolls and oval patterns. The cage door opens and latches shut. Original large key for winding up. The start/stop slide, when released, allows the birds to move and sing their glorious birdsong. Appears to be a Bontems creation, though there is some evidence that the singing birds may be German made, and date from the early 1800s. Base has a 12 Diameter.
