ANTIQUE MUSIC BOX 1800’s – Box measures: 16-1/4″ W x 8″ D x 5-1/2 H. The cylinder is 8-1/8 long. Box is solid wood in fair condition; it has been repaired and painted with a neutral chalk paint coffee bean. It does NOT have the Programme card/paper attached to the underside of the top lid that would list out the Airs (Song Titles). The music box is working properly. The start/stop switch: it will not stop during play but when the song is finished, it will stop. The change songs switch works. The wood label for these two switches is missing. The key to front lock of the music box is missing. The teeth on the comb are all present, and the governor looks good. Please look over all the photos (zoom in); the photos are part of the description. Item will be double boxed. Entire contents was part of a huge antique find recently that was caught up in legalities between two deceased antique collectors.
