This rare antique Regina music box is just gorgeous. It is a single comb, inside wind music box in a beautiful wood case. The finish is pristine with no scratches or damage. My grandfather bought this music box in Ohio back in the 1950’s. It was old then. My mom inherited it and had it cleaned in Dallas in 2004. It bears the serial number 49387 and measures approximately 26 1/2″ wide, 21″ deep, and 12 1/2. The research I have done reveals that the serial number indicates the box probably dates in the mid to late 1800’s. It comes with 27 11.25 discs including Christmas and popular tunes of the day. The discs appear to be in good to medium condition I don’t know how to rate this… I think they all play. It sounds simply amazing.
