Specially this one , that came with the real hummingbirds feathers on all 3 birds. (You will not find another one with the feathers as unique and colorful as this 3 birds). This also is an incredibly early example of the “Eschle” brothers work – they rekindled their Father’s company in the early 1950s after a 25 year hiatus (the Father hand crafted singing bird boxes between 1922 and 1928). At the beginning of the rekindled company and uses a movement from the elder Eschle. The movement is solid brass, the bird is solid brass and the mechanism is regulated by a centrifugal force governor rather than an air-brake assembly. The sons later redesigned the movement which continued to be used on all Eschle bird boxes and then eventually Reuge. SIZE IS ABOUT : 4″ x 4″ x 6. This is a bird box with a “cage style” design. It has a singing bird box mechanical movement. The main bird sits on top a perch and functions just like a normal singing bird box.
