Vintage Reuge Music Singing Automaton Bird Music Box. The piece had been sitting for quite some time. For testing purposes, it was wound up and the bird was given a slight nudge to get the motion started. He then flapped his wings, sang with a moving beak, but then froze while retracting back into the box. No more attempts were made to get him to function for fear of damaging it. There is also a small chip in the enamel as pointed out in photo six as well as a missing eye. Note that we are not experts in this field and are aware the piece will require servicing/restoration to fully function. Comes exactly as-is shown. All questions will be promptly answered.
