Not at all an expert in this field, this is what I can tell you. My mother was an antique dealer long ago and brought this music box to our home. I cannot find a maker’s mark other that “made in Switzerland” as pictured. The piece works perfectly, had no missing parts or teeth and has a wonderful tone. It has rarely been played. I do not know what kind of wood the box is but it is in near perfect condition. 17″ long, 7″ in height. I do not know how many songs it plays or what they are.
