A 19th Century musical box playing 8 aires, striking on 3 bells. The case has some cracks. The lid has cracks and minor warping. The interior is generally in good condition including the comb teeth in good working order. The good quality Swiss made timber cased cylinder music box, playing 8 airs, marked Lith. Picard-Lion, Geneve the hinged lid revealing a glass panel and further hinged compartment housing the brass cylinder with 43 combed teeth and a repeating movement Swiss. This Swiss musical box, playing eight airs on chromolithographic label. This music box case is in need of restoration. The Movement could do with a service but is working with nice tone all teeth are there. The Left bell needs some adjustment because the hammer is not hitting it properly. The item “8 Air Lith.
