Up for sale is an antique Swiss cylinder music box. This one is large and heavy. The case features an inlaid lid with a mother of pearl center. The cylinder music box played when wound. The songs that it plays are listed on the paper label. There are 8 songs (airs) total. The piece appears to be in overall good condition. The crank is a little loose from age, but works fine. The skeleton key to lock the lid is not present, but it is not really an issue as none of the music boxes that we have found have them. We inherited this piece from a late relative that specialized in clocks and clock related restoration. We ourselves are not experts.
