Very nice piece for its age.. Has some nicks and some chips but solid and in working condition. Has many keys and cant get good count see no tips missing… Plays all three songs and sounds very nice, and good volume for its size… Very small snuff box size 41/4″by21/2″by 11/2deep.. Offering a Carte Ve Visite photo album that dates back to the Civil War era. We know that because on the back of one of the CDV’s is a revenue stamp and that was only used during the war to raise revenue. Album contains 23 images on 11 pages in the front half. The music box plays at least 2 songs and this particular album has the name of the tunes written in pen and ink attached to the inside cover. Next to that page is a discolored page, as shown. The Moroccan brown leather covering is in excellent condition except for the tiny spots shown on the front cover. The spine is tight, the wide brass clasp works well and the top has an unusually fancy brass design with a slight loss of leaf shape trim as shown in the 3rd photo.
