This has a great look to it and is free of any chips or cracks. The detailing is really beautiful on this piece. There may be some surface wear from age which is to be expected. Please see all photos for details and feel free to ask any questions. This piece measures 10.5 tall and works great. You turn it on by twisting the finial on the top. The song number on the box is 6185. Please keep in mind that the majority of the items in my store are used, vintage or antique. I WILL BE ADDING A PICTURE OF THE REPAIR IN THE NEXT DAY OR 2. This listing is for a vintage porcelain musical carousel lipstick or cigarette holder by Reuge and made in Italy. It measures 14 inches or 35.5 cm high and is 7 inches or 17.7 cm wide across the bottom. It features a round base with 3 figural feet with a mask of a grotesque face. The piece is gilt brass and accented with Capodimonte porcelain. The porcelain is decorated with winged cherubs in a landscape setting. The top has a figural finial of a seated cherub playing a lute. It is marked on the bottom “REUGE MADE IN ITALY LARA’S THEME LOVE STORY (I think that is right) SWISS MUSICAL MOVEMENT”. When the button is pushed the paneled doors open and display the tubes and then close again while playing a beautiful song. The condition overall is very good to excellent, with 1 exception. It has been repaired. It is shown in last picture. It runs smoothly and the porcelain is all in excellent condition. The music plays strong and loud. Please see the photographs for more on the look and condition as they are an important part of the description. I HAVE A COUPLE VIDEOS. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM, MESSAGE ME AND I WILL SEND.
