Beautiful wooden Reuge music box from Italy. It’s not playing and I’m not sure why. I don’t want to fiddle with the apparatus. It is approximately 8.4″ long by 3.4″ wide and 2.7 tall.

Enjoy the melodic music of this beautiful 1897 Mahogany Regina Music Box (Style 20) with eight 11-inch Regina steel discs included. Measuring 13-inches wide, and 8 inches high, this dome top antique player is in very good condition. Emblazoned with the serial number 40238 on its brass bed plate, this music box has 56 teeth in its single comb. It has a lovely mahogany dome top, with two very little scratches on top, (please see photos). The mahogany case and paper picture are also in very good condition as well, (please see photos). This music box has all its original mechanisms, including the wind-up handle. It is in its original condition and has never been refurbished. It plays very well. (please see the you tube video). Once the player starts playing, it does take a little while to stop after it slows down; so that mechanism may need adjustment. The Regina discs have some rust on them; but it is not significant, and each one plays well. If you have any questions, please contact me, and I will answer them asap.
