This listing is for an antique Jacots Mermod Freres 10 Airs Music Box. Box is in working condition. Plays and changes songs as intended or repeats. The cylinders is in good condition with the exception of discoloration. The comb is missing some pins. Measurements are approximately: 19″ x 9 1/2″x 7. Jacot’s Swiss 10 song Music Player with music cylinder. Works great, sounds beautiful. Manufactured in the later 1800s by Swiss Manufacturing, serial no. Measures 13.5″ left to right 5″ front to back 3.25 up and down. Cylinder is just over 7.5″ long and is 1.75″ in diameter. Machine is fastened to bottom of wooden box with slide away board for access to side of cylinder. Wooden box measures 19″ left to right, 8.5″ front to back, 5.5 up and down. Jacot’s – Marque De Fabrique. 10 Airs Swiss music box. Marque De Fabrique 1816. 65899 on lithograph matches the number stamped on cylinder. Swiss – Repeat / Change lever. Cylinder is 7 1/2 wide. Music box components roughly 14 wide. Hinged glass cover plate. Box size is about 19 1/2″ wide x 9 1/2″ deep x 6 1/2 high. Wood display box – medium / dark finish. Some inlay missing on top (repairable) – scratches and nicks in wood from usage. Side panel has circular scratch from handle. No key for front lock. 10 song lithograph playlist with baby musicians. 10 Airs PROGRAMME 7 1/2 pounces. Works – very clear sound.
