Lined in red velve, original key with tassel. Hand painted top with a floral design. Upon opening, the music box begins to play “Love Story” The box is made in Italy stamped in the bottom. For your consideration is this really beautifully detailed Music Box from Germany. It is a unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted by the well-known Steinbach company. It features Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus surrounded by musical angels. When the music is playing, the upper platform rotates. The musical movement is a. Movement and it plays: “Silent night”. To wind it up, just turn the key. There is a stopper on the side, too, this does work but upon testing I have noticed that only after a certain amount of rotations will it stop. The music box is in good working condition, there is some damage that include missing wings on 3 front angles with one more angle missing 1 wing, mother mary is missing an arm, & 2 stars are missing on top of the arch. These imperfections will be clearly shown in pics. The paint is bright and shiny. There are only few paint chips on the base and platform. Please look at all pictures and zoom in. This music box is rare, not new and perfect, but charming. Please also watch & listen to the video that I have placed along with the pics to get a good glimpse of this rare vintage german music box in action. It measures about 8″ tall and 5 1/2″ wide. Dates back to the late 1940s.

Vintage, very rare, musical metal stationary American bank by Paul J. I believe this bank is from around the 1940’s. It’s in good, used condition with some minor spots of missing paint. Uncle Sam appears to have originally held something in his right hand which is now gone. The front states, “You Can Bank On America”; the back “You Can Bank On Uncle Sam”. Winding key on the bottom works and plays the Star Spangled Banner for a few seconds before it clicks off. One tiny screw missing from the bottom. The bank stands 7″ high x 6″ diameter.
