Up for sale is a very nice Thorens Gramaphone. This has 10 original disks with it as well. I believe this is the AD30 movement. Does work and play. The only thing is when the swith is flipped to stop, it take 5 seconds to actually stop. Unsure if thats a feature, or a part that needs cleaning. Horn is still nice and bright. The cabinet is in good shape, could probably use a wood marker, to clean up the light scratching if you want. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time!

Vintage and very rare wooden THORENS AD30 Swiss Music Box, 9 metal disc in Thorens box. Rare 2 doors with colorful stained glass inserts, removable rear panel. Previously owned and well taken care off. In good condition for being vintage, may have cosmetic wear, or blemishes that are not very visible to me. Perfect for collectors of Thorens music boxes, most likely will not have this rare music box. I have not been able to find any identical ones online. Approximate size: 14″ wide x 6 1/2″ width x 8 tall. Weight over 7 lbs (without the metal disc). Similar, but not identical, like without the stained glass, sell for a lot more than what I’m listing it for. It will be carefully packed, insured, and require an adult’s signature. Characteristics might not be immediately obvious in the photos, so we encourage you to look the pictures over carefully. Item appears in overall good condition with no major damages. Exterior may have some scuffs or discolored. I do not know the history, care, modification if any, authenticity or longevity of the items. Signs of wear may include marks, scratches, scuffs, dirt, chips, and other signs of use. Thank you for understanding.

A Thorens AD30 music box mechanism has been crafted into an old jewelry box carcass. The mechanism is working fine and has been completely overhauled (disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, new pinion gear, timing set, dampers adjusted, comb aligned). Included are 8 discs listed below. The condition is nice, there are some war wounds (dings and dents). The top left corner has been repaired (see photo). The titles on some of the discs are hard to read. Antique Polyphon Symphonion in Great Wooden. NOTE: Does not play long, because disc are not perfectly straight. This holds it from playing long. I know this, because removing disc, it plays way longer. Have not wound up all the way. The piece works great. Plays for a minute or so. Need some cleaning, and oiling. Comes with 9 metal music disc. Each disc measures 4.5 in diameter. All have smudges; that won’t clean. They all play great. The wooden music box measures 10″ m Long X 6″ Wide X 4 in Height. The works has a stop latch.
