For your consideration is this lovely vintage Christmas Music Box from Germany. It is a unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted by the well-known Christian Ulbricht company. It features a musical angel playing her Mandolin. The musical movement is a swiss REUGE Romance movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well. To wind it up, just turn the key underneath clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side, too. The music box is in mint condition and comes in original box. The paint is bright and shiny. Please look at all pictures and zoom in. Nice vintage music box. She measures 6″ tall and about 4″ wide. Comes from a clean and smoke free home. Please ask, if you have any questions about this item! You will need to put her wings back in place.

I wiped down the top and carousel portions but the individual angels and doves could likely use a wipe as well from it being displayed over time. This is a vintage item, NOT NEW and not perfect. It is an unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted. It features 6 angels playing different musical instruments, one is singing and one is the conductor. This beautifully detailed music box was made in the Erzgebirge region in the former East Germany by the famous company “Wendt & Kuhn”. When the music is playing, the stand with the conductor rotates. The musical movement is a swiss THORENS movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: “Silent Night”. To wind it up, just turn the key on the side clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side, too. The music box is in great condition and complete. There is some paint loss to mention, though: please see the conductor’s wings and baton. The trumpet has a paint chip, too. Other than that, it is. Please look at all pictures and zoom in. Nice vintage music box. Dates to the 1980s. It measures about 7 1/2″ tall and 6″ wide. Comes from a clean and smoke free home. If you wish you could glue her on, but I have always seen it this way. Please ask, if you have any questions about this item!
