It features a church with bell tower and stained glass “windows”. The musical movement is a. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well. “Doctor Zhivago, Lara’s Theme”. To wind it up, just turn the key underneath clockwise. To play the music, push the lever to the right. This is a Limited Edition. You will receive number 22 out of only 500 made. This Beautiful Bornand music box will play with a little help rotating the cylinder, I believe it needs a good cleaning and oiling such as a mechanical watch might need. Boast a 13″ brass cylinder, box putter dimensions are 22.5″ long x 10.5″ deep x 6-1/4″ tall. This music box weighs approximately 40-lbs. These are known to be made from 1850’s – 1895.

The singing bird mechanism is in beautiful working condition. This one has a beautiful gilt brass case with beautiful engravings like the beautiful hummingbirds on the lid. Karl Griesbaum is known for creating high-quality, handmade music boxes and whistlers that are highly sought after by collectors for their unique beauty, functionality and hand made quality. The mechanism has just been fully serviced including full disassembly cleaning, lubricating and adjusting to as new functionality. The main spring has also been removed from the barrel, cleaned and lubricated. The original leaking and worn out bellows have been recovered. The original bellows materials tend to dry out and get stiff over time. I use a modern highly flexible and airtight Bellows material that works really well. This bird box will give you many many years of great service. It works and sounds great and should provide many years of use and enjoyment. Beautiful vintage bird box. This beautiful rare Dora Music Box is a must-have for any Nickelodeon collector. Made in China and manufactured in 2012, this music box features a dancing ballerina design that is sure to bring joy to any room. The unit quantity is one and it is not handmade. The brand of this music box is Nickelodeon, making it a unique addition to any decorative collectibles collection. It falls under the category of music boxes and is perfect for those who love Dora the Explorer. Get your hands on this rare piece today! I did a Google search on this particular music box and many of them similar. Look it up for yourself if you don’t believe me. Please look at the photos carefully. This isn’t really nice condition and it does work perfectly beautiful ballerina spins around in circles as the music plays. There is a gorgeous little mirror on the top inside of the box that reflects the beautiful little ballerina. If anybody knows about this particular music box, please share some information with me because the information I found online was very very limited. I do not tolerate scam. Artists though and if I have a bad experience with someone, trying to get over on me. It just gets you blocked from all the future good deals.
