This unit is from the brand Mr. Christmas and was manufactured within the time period of 1970 to now. Handmade or not, it is a unique and charming addition to any collection. Absolutely darling music box that plays 50 songs. 25 Christmas carols and 25 all time classics. Tested and functions fine! This listing is for a rare antique Swiss cylinder music box. This is an orchestral style music box with cylinder, drum, and bells. This music box is large, measuring about 16.7 x 10.2 x 7.75 inches. The music box is in overall physically good condition. The exterior is nice inlaid detailing. Some signs of normal wear and age present. The movement played when tested (see video). It plays 6 songs. There are 2 missing teeth. The music box might be fun for a tune up. Some of the notes don’t sound as clear. Start/stop button does not function, so it plays until the spring winds down. Arrow indicating which song is playing also needs to be readjusted. No skeleton key for lid (typical for music boxes of this age), but it is unlocked. Please see photos and video for details.
