2 Vintage German singing Bird Cage music boxes Clockwork Automations for parts. Two vintage singing bird cage Automations. Both brass cages embellished with turquoise colored cabochons. One cage with Two birds one with red feathers , the lower bird with Yellow feathers. The second Cage with one yellow feathered bird. The movement marked Eschle Germany. Age – ca 1950’s. Size – Both 10 tall. Condition – Cages are in good overall condition with some slight bends and tarnishing. Both automations have movements but not not running. Please scroll to see all pictures. Antique Nicole Freres Swiss 11.5 Cylinder Music Box. You are looking at a very nice working 11.5 cylinder music box with inlays. This is the one of a large private collection being offered and listed separately… Keep checking, will add new listings as time permits. The box appears to have been restored at some point… The finish is shiny as shown. As is as found… And the motor will run if you loosen the cylinder and mess with it.. 5 teeth missing on the comb.. 5 of the tooth pieces are included if they can be used for the restoration….. The cylinder needs adjusting and alignment as well as additional tinkering and repair to be operational… Since I know nothing about these machines, I cannot guarantee flawless operation… And this one definitely needs some repair. Antique Ducommun Girod Swiss 11 Cylinder Music Box. You are looking at a very nice working 11 cylinder music box with Marquetry Pearl inlays. This is the one of a large private collection being offered and listed separately… Keep checking, will add new listings as time permits. The box appears to have been restored at some point and the rest had been started… The finish is shiny as shown. The internals were tested as follows. It held a wind but did not move…. The roller seems tight or out of alignment. Upon loosening the brackets that hold the cylinder, it began to turn and play and then hung up… I could get it to turn by taking pressure off the cylinder but I didn’t want to create any damage.
