Wonderful vintage “Little Clown” shadowbox music box designed by Koji Murai. It features a circus scene of clowns balancing on a seesaw against a backdrop of a larger clown face. It includes a small drawer at the bottom for storing jewelry or small items. It plays music when wound up, and the drawer is pulled out. When activated, the clowns move in time with the music. It plays the song “Top of the World” by the Carpenters. Made of wood and other materials. Measures approximately 8″ tall x 7″ wide x 3.5 deep. In wonderful condition for its age, with minimal age / storage wear – only a light water stain on the bottom (see last photo). Not noticeable when in a standing position. Rare Old Reuge Dancing Clown Music Box. This is fabulous, vintage Reuge Automaton dancing clown music box. It measures approximately 5″ high and 3.5″ wide. The music box is in good, working order. Charming Incense Smoker Burner by Steinbach Volkskunst – West Germany. Clown standing next to a drum. He is wearing big shoes, yellow bow tie and top hat. The drum says, “Akrobat Schooon”. Plays “Oh Mein Papa Tome You are so Wonderful” (I think) see video. Pull the top of his body off and put the incense cone in the now exposed holder. When lit, smoke will come out of the clown’s mouth. Wooden on wood stand – hand turned, assembled, and painted. No smoke marks inside, may have never been used – terrific condition – see photos. 5 1/4″ by 3 3/4″ base. Thank you for looking! I repair Melody in Motions and I replace drive belts on all that I sell New or Restored. I Love watching them come back to life. (I Stand behind what I Sell I do not sell JUNK). Sat in a closet for well over 35 years never displayed. (It was from a PIRVATE COLLECTOR) Drive belts have been changed due to the age , this will give you many more years of enjoyment. Cleaned inside and out – Tested and working like New. This Also has paperwork. They are very dirty, and the drive belts are old (Dried out) and the Battery compartments are in vert bad shape. This is a collectors Dream.
