For your consideration is this beautifully detailed Music Box from the Erzgebirge Region in the former East Germany. This stunning work of art was made by the well-known Leichsenring company from Seiffen. Every single flower was hand carved from wood and stained. The Thorens musical movement is from Switzerland and plays very well: “Waltz of the Flowers”. To wind it up, just turn the key underneath clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side. The music box in excellent condition and complete, only very few petals were lost. Please look at all pictures and zoom in. Size: the lady is about 5 3/4″ tall and 5″ wide.
