I wound this up a little and it seems to function when you open the top. I id not want to wind this too mush. This shows some heavy dust and dirt. I see some light surface scratches. The underlaying brass pat show some tarnish typical of this type of design. The edges of the chased part do have a sharpness to them, also typical. There is a little sticker residue on the winding meckanism and i hear a small rattle in the bottom. There are 2 slots in the blue bottom interior, this may be a wedding ring presentation. Shows wear, scratches, dust, and dirt commensurate with age, use storage and display This is all documented in the pictures, please review them carefully, they are part of the description. Music box is tested and works well. I do not know what song it plays. It is 6 2/3 tall. There are some signs of age and gentle use. Two of it’s strings are missing.
