This box features a Santa pulling a sled with gifts and four angels also carrying gifts. This music box plays O Tannenbaum in a rather slow fashion, but it is charming nonetheless. The angels’ hair col use a touch up, and one looks as though she was re-glued, but the Santa and sled are beautifully intact.

For your consideration is this lovely vintage Christmas Music Box from Germany. It is a unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted by the well-known Christian Ulbricht company. It features a musical angel playing her Mandolin. The musical movement is a swiss REUGE Romance movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well. To wind it up, just turn the key underneath clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side, too. The music box is in mint condition and comes in original box. The paint is bright and shiny. Charming Incense Smoker Burner by Steinbach Volkskunst – West Germany. Clown standing next to a drum. He is wearing big shoes, yellow bow tie and top hat. The drum says, “Akrobat Schooon”. Plays “Oh Mein Papa Tome You are so Wonderful” (I think) see video. Pull the top of his body off and put the incense cone in the now exposed holder. When lit, smoke will come out of the clown’s mouth. Wooden on wood stand – hand turned, assembled, and painted. It features a Nativity, the Holy Family with palm trees and sheep. This beautifully detailed music box was made in the Erzgebirge region in Germany by the Richard Glaesser company. When the music is playing, the entire platform rotates. The musical movement is a Sankyo. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well Silent Night. To wind it up, just turn the key underneath clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side. The music box is in excellent condition, apart from a repair to the star and some palm tree leaves. Please look at all pictures and zoom in. It would be a great Christmas gift and comes with its original box (has some writing on top) and instructions. It measures: 8″ tall and 6″ wide.
