This is from a repairman’s estate. The Box was beyond redemption-pieces missing, major delamination, etc. The movement did turn prior to disassembly. I understand torsion spring movements are uncommon and desirable. Many case parts, governor, and crank included. THERE IS NO COMB, perhaps lost overtime when removed for repair. Very old maybe turn of the century or before cylinder type music box case with a few parts inside great for restoration needs. It has the spring barrel and the governor. The controls on the right are there. The lid is dis connected and has some rough scratches and finish loss. There is a dig in the top of the lid and a little piece of veneer missing. This one might be good for harvesting the parts or refinishing the case. It a large one measuring about 17 7/8″ X 8 1/4″ on the lid. Check out the photo’s for condition.
