THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE LARGE ITALIAN DEEP BLUE LEATHER GOLD GILDED MUSIC BOX. THIS BOX IS COVERED IN REAL LEATHER / SUEDE WITH GILDED GOLD TRIM. THE INTERIOR IN LINED IN A STUNNING HANDMADE ITALIAN BLUE & GOLD PAPER WITH THE HIDDEN SWISS MUSIC BOX ON THE RIGHT. PLAYS NICELY AND IS A PRETTY TUNE BUT I HAVE NOT IDENTIFIED THE NAME. A NICE SIZE AT APPROX. 12″ ACROSS X 8 1/8″ DEEP X 3 1/2 HIGH. UNDERSIDE HAS THE KEY WIND AND IF WOUND IT PLAYS WHEN OPENED. LATCH CLOSES SHUT AND PUSHING THE BUTTONS RELEASES – NO KEY. I HAVE NOT SEEN ANOTHER LIKE IT.
