Up for consideration is a gorgeous Reuge music box issued issues from the Franklin Mint in excellent condition. It is a Vatican Museum authorized “The Life of Christ Millennium Music Box” which had a limited production of 5,000. It has a 72 note, three song Swiss REUGE mechanism which plays: Christ the Lord is Risen Today, O’ Holy Night, and The Lord’s Prayer. It is presented in a gorgeous mahogany wood box with gold plated accents and various porcelaine depictions of Christ throughout his life. Gianni Benvenuti designed the “Last Supper” porcelain sculpture, which is part of the Franklin Mint collection. The box measures 12.5″ long, 3.5″ tall, and 7.25 deep. These are limited edition number of 5,000 made & THIS ONE IS IN THE 1ST BATCH AT #104! The box is in excellent condition and the songs play perfectly.

1999 Lenox Holiday Santa Millennium Centerpiece Carousel Music Box w/Original Box & Styrofoam. WATCH VIDEO – Plays “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. Price tag and gold stamped ID on bottom. The porcelain is in Very Good Condition although one side of the top finial holly leaf is missing. It is easy to overlook due to all the other intricate details of this piece. There is a small chip at the top of the turntable column above the Santa as shown in the photo but the carousel canopy completely covers it when assembled…….. But I wanted to point it out. This carousel came partially disassembled to fit in the original partitioned styrofoam. That is also the way you will receive it. Very easy to reassemble the 4 poles to the base. The carousel weighs 4 lb. 12 oz and with the original box and styrofoam, the weight goes up to 6 lb. Box shows shelf and storage wear. All items come from a pet free and smoke free environment. Seven paintings depicting an event from the story of salvation encompass this breathtaking music box. Architectural accents are gold toned cast metal along with a mahogany laminate box. There are two beautiful custom (high polished) gold toned angel handles that adorn each side of the music box. T also has a pin hinged wooden framed glass cover that keeps the mechanism clean and dust-free. This music box is quite heavy and extremely well built. The 72-note movement by “Reuge of Switzerland” Plays three hymns: “O Holy Night, ” “The Lord’s Prayer, ” and “Christ the Lord is Risen Today”.
