For sale is a premier Swiss-made Reuge 72-note musical movement. Performance: The winding mechanism is tight and operates with absolute precision. The acoustic sound is exceptionally rich, resonant, and clear-a testament to true Swiss craftsmanship. Details: Features the signature heavy cast base plate, finely tuned steel comb teeth, and a densely pinned brass cylinder playing a multi-part musical arrangement. An incredible find for horologists, collectors, or artisans crafting or restoring a high-end heirloom music box. Features & Repertoire: This precision Swiss Reuge 72-note movement plays a brilliant sequence of classical arrangements, historically identified on the original fitted housing as works including pieces by J. Bach (Minuet, Air) and Handel (Gigue). The cylinder and steel comb are pristine, delivering a rich, flawless acoustic performance. This confirms it is a multi-tune classical movement featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel, which adds incredible search appeal for high-end classical music box collectors.
