The original tune card is mounted on the lid and lists six songs. 6-Air cylinder (plays six tunes). Maker’s marks: M. Jacot Music Box Co. (New York) dealer label. Tune card present on underside of lid. Repeater / Change lever intact. 16″ wide x 8″ deep x 6 tall. ? Condition (In Need of Repair). Spring does not wind – movement does not fully engage. Cylinder rotates slightly when tested by hand, but not under spring power. Case shows scattered wear, scratches, and finish loss. Tune card has edge losses and wear. So this music box plays perfectly just doesnt have the top piece and i cant get it to open. Could be a easy fix. Missing one top nob but everything is in amazing condition inside. Rare Vintage Steinbach S2 German Music Box – Erzgebirge Folk Art – Working Condition. Beautiful handcrafted music box from the Steinbach Gr. Präsentspieldose S2 series, made in Hohenhameln, Germany. This collectible piece features charming, hand-painted wooden figures in the traditional Erzgebirge folk art style. ? Music box mechanism winds and plays properly. ? Classic German craftsmanship with detailed painted flowers, trees, and woodland characters. The center pinecone “tree” (a large footed pinecone) is missing, along with 2 small pinecones that originally sat beside it. 2 rabbits remain in the center, but both are missing their heads. One human figure on the outer ring is missing entirely (only a stump remains). Another human figure is present but damaged : missing head, part of one arm, and the mushrooms she originally held. Some light scuffing and paint wear consistent with age. Label intact on underside. Please see all photos for accurate visual detail. Despite the cosmetic flaws, the music plays well and it still displays beautifully – a great candidate for restoration or to enjoy as-is. Beautiful work of art. Bird has real feathers and glass eyes. When wound up, the bird will move (bobs, opens mouth, etc) but the movement is not smooth and the Bird makes no music. Brass cage has an intricate floral design as well as rusty spots to add to its charm.

Gorgeous Antique Reuge Lipstick Cigarette Carousel Music Box Cherub ITALY. Raised on figural Bacchus feet. While the body is really very nice antique condition, the item Needs Repair in order to function as intended. The carousel does not work it the doors sit open as pictured in images 14-17. The pictures with the doors shut is with the aide of two small pieces of tape (images 1-12) Lastly, the music mechanism is overwound and does not play music. Measures 13″ x 6.5″(images have been significantly enlarged to show detail). Pictures show the piece from all sides including the bottom. Condition: Please read the description. This is a Lador Vintage Cylinder Music Box. From a local estate. Cosmetics-The outside has heavy wear and coating loss. Especially on top with a long crack and red stuck on residue. The inside is missing the info label. The bottom is missing a screw. Legs don’t sit perfectly flat and teeters some. Operationally it does wind up but struggles to run. I had to give the key a nudge to add pressure for it to keep running. It was in storage for decades. Good for someone who likes a project. See lots of photos of what you are getting. A vintage Thorens music box, I believe the movement is an AD-30 disc player. Looks like it is in overall good condition with mild wear overall. This does not sound quite right when playing. Seems like it is struggling, not sure what the issue is. There is a broken comb tooth. It is also missing a foot on the bottom. Measures about 7-1/2 by 6-1/4″ and is about 3″ tall. Includes 5 discs 041124. Expect minor evidence of use or imperfections, dings etc. We take many photos of our items to assist with the description.
