Beautifully working condition music box. The video doesn’t do it justice. Sounds phenomenally in person. Fully tested and working. The wooden frame does have a few light scratches and imperfections but nothing major. The glass sitting over the musical parts is fully intact. The front right round foot turns nonstop, it sits in place but doesn’t tighten all the way. Please see all pictures for condition of box. Box is 8″ long, 4.75″ wide, 2.5 tall. Weighs about 2 pounds and 10 ounces. I will pack it extremely well. I will be happy to help/answer you to the best of my ability.

The inside lid has a mirror engraved with the titles of the cylinders. The March of the toy soldier. The music of the night. 18th Variation on a theme of Pagonini. The wind beneath my wings. I called the Regue company in Switzerland to try and find out why the top of this music player was ebonized and after a month of going back and forth and through a translator I found out that they had an issue with the tops of these music players becoming milky white to the point where you could not see the wood grain like the rest of the music box. They said that they had several dozen of these music boxes that they could not fix so the tops were ebonized. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing what ever the case it is still a beautiful music box.

This vintage 1920’s Swiss music box movement plays “The Count of Luxemburg” waltz by Franz Léhar, the “Hiawatha” overture by Samuel Coleridge Taylor, the “Tannhäuser March” by Richard Wagner and “The Wedding March” by Felix Mendelssohn. With 52 notes, and over 900 pins on the cylinder, these classics can be enjoyed fully. Measures 5″ x 2-5/8″ x 1. Includes the winding key, 4 mounting screws and its original self adhesive tune card.
