Made in the United States. It is a unique decorative collectible that produces music through the use of cobb music rolls. This handmade organ is a rare find from the pre-1900 era. Includes 15 cobb music rolls. All the mechanisms work OK but the item does not play as we believe it needs the new bellows flaps repaired or replaced. The one flap is dated Nov 17, 1902. Measures about 18″x15″x12, see photos. Wood does not appear to be oak, so we are guessing Mahogony or some other hard wood.

A lot of 10 cobs for a roller organ. These are in overall good condition with some wear. They have little to no damage, perhaps a bent or missing tine on a few. Labels are fair overall, most are readable. These are about 6-1/2″ long and 1-3/4″ in diameter. Antique GEM ROLLER ORGAN great for display in the collection. Has the original crank. Comes with 6 music that I have played. Came from a nice estate and was restored professionally. The pneumatic system has been recovered —notice how nice the corners are formed into a taper. It is incredible how easily this cranks and puts out good clear notes. I will pack it carefully. Please note that the music box isn’t working. It does make a note at times but will not play. It feels like it could be an easy repair, but we can’t be sure. A couple of the angel wings are loose. We pushed them into their slots but would need glue to stay in place. Also the harp is loose and needs to be glued back. The gold cone thing on the organ is loose. Maybe was a candle? We are offering it for a fraction of that due to its condition. 12 inches high and 12 inches wide. Please see pictures as they show exactly what you will be getting. Could be a great project or display as it is b. This vintage music box features a beautiful carved wooden angel organ from Germany’s renowned Erzgebirge region. The box is handcrafted by Wendt & Kuhn and is a perfect addition to any collection of decorative collectibles. The music box is Thorens and was manufactured between 1970 and now.
