PLEASE SEE THIS DESCRIPTION: This is such a wonderful piece of 3 very great nutcracker songs. It does have light hiccups & issues but does play very well. Please watch the video for full sound. Sometimes the friction governor assembly does not get going on it’s own when locked, It might need a slight touch. Or if you just wind it usually good especially if it has been used for a bit. Usually if you give an extra quarter turn it’s ready but if you have it too tight it will not without manual help. There is a bit louder shift on the one song back to the front(Video). Condition outside of that is very good, again could use a look through. You can see some of the wear the reuge music player on photos. Scratches on the outside of the box(especially top). Glass is not held down and is moveable without removing screws or nails. The sticker on the bottom is gone, but the inside one is nice. If you have have questions on this let me know. This is a stunning music box display piece. The base is stationary. The tall piece that you see is actually a box that you can put something into and it rotates when you wind up the music mechanism on the bottom. The music is Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies from the Nutcracker. &#######xA0; The soldier on the rocking horse in front rocks gently back and forth while the music is playing as well. I have displayed this for a few holidays but we have run out of space. PLEASE NOTE the packing box is AWFUL! &#######xA0; It is the original box but the packaging is gone and the outer box has bends and tears and is absolutely in horrible condition. But the box itself is lovely, it works beautifully and this can be a treasured heirloom for years to come. It measures approx 8″ tall and 6.25″ diameter. &#######xA0; It is quite heavy and I believe it is made of resin. All of my items come from a smoke free home.
