For your consideration is this beautiful Christmas Music Box from Germany. It is an unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted in the Erzgebirge region by the Richard Glasser company from Seiffen. The music box features Santa with Deer at a house and lots of gifts around. The musical movement is a swiss REUGE/ROMANCE movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: “Oh Tannenbaum”(O Christmas Tree). To wind it up, just turn the key on the side clockwise. There is also a working stopper next to it. When the music is playing the larger platform with the train and figurines rotates around Santa, who is stationary. This piece is in excellent condition, the colours are bright and shiny. There is only one paint chip on the platform (see pic 7). Marked with the Richard Glasser and Romance labels. The music box is large. It measures 8″ tall and 7 1/2″ wide.
