1880s Antique Symphonion Simplex 7 1/2 Disc Music Box Plays W/ 10 Discs Nice. Listed is a nice antique 1880s Symphonion Simplex disc music box. The box is in nice condition for its age with no cracks/splits, or wood chunks missing. Overall the box really is nice, the one issue being there is some blue paint on the back of the box from some point in time. Still has the original decorating on the top of the box but it is faded, also has the original instruction paper still inside it as well. Box still works and plays but could probably use a good cleaning/oiling for regular use. Includes 10 7 1/2 inch music discs with it. These boxes are becoming much rarer as time goes on, especially ones that are still in good playing condition. This exact model itself doesnt come up for sale often, so dont miss out if youve been looking for one! You wont be disappointed.
