Very old maybe turn of the century or so Mahogany record storage cabinet in unrestored condition. It presents well and would make a great go along for a large music box or phonograph. There is some alligatoring to the finish and a chips of veneer on the cabinet. It has a nice brass pull. The doors open independently. The upright pieces of wood in the middle of the shelf inside were added and provide good support if this was loaded with records. You could take the supports out if you wanted with minor fill to the small screw holes. I’d leave them in. A nice big cabinet. Check out the photos for condition. It measures approximately 25 5/16″ X 18 1/4″ on the top. It measures approximately 43 5/8 high. If you can’t make it here to pick this up I will refer you to my hauler or take it to my local UPS Store for you and drop it off. Collectors Dream A Victrola Top w/ Tags from Various Makers of Phonographs & Grammophones and Music Stores. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep it for yourself! What a unique piece this is! It came from a large collector’s sale of all of his items. He had the largest collection of uncommon and unique victrolas, phonographs and grammophones that we have ever seen in one place. If I counted correctly, there are 33 different tags, including the gold Victrola stencil that was always on the Victrola top. Lots of very unique names like Vita-Nola, Charmaphone, Fairytone, Cheney, Resona, Mandel, Pathe, Solotone, Sonora, Perfectone, Clarinola, etc. Some of the tags also appear to be from music shops. The stop and start selector button works on the music box, as does the replay/change selector. The Music Maker’s Tag Piece is 21-1/8″ tall, by 14-5/8″ across, by 1-7/16 wide.
