Antique Regina Music Box. Presented for your consideration is this beautiful antique music box. The music box is a style 11 table top music box made by Regina. It features a mahogany case with a twisted rope edging at the top and the bottom of the sides. The underside of the lid has a picture of a goddess with cherubs all around her. The interior of the base holds the disc and the arm to hold the disc in place easily moves up to change out the discs. Underneath the disc housing are three different plaques. One is part of the combs and reads “Regina” in raised lettering with the serial number 17247 underneath the name. Near the top is a list of patent dates with the latest being May 20, 1902 and in the lower right corner is a plaque that gives instructions on how to use the music box. The music box is a double comb and the combs look to be in very good condition. All of the teeth are intact. The teeth are free of breaks, chips and cracks. The music box is in WORKING condition and plays beautifully. Comes with 6 discs. Three of the discs are antique and the other three are newer discs from the 1990s. The music box is guaranteed to be old and all original. This gorgeous music box would make a great addition to any antique or vintage music box collection! Great to listen to! There is a crack and small chip in the back wall of the interior of the base (please refer to the photos). The discs have some light bending and the older discs show some wear. Overall the box and discs are in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details. Box measures 18 1/2″ deep, 20″ wide and 10 3/4 tall.
