Antique Ducommun Girod Swiss 11 Cylinder Music Box. You are looking at a very nice working 11 cylinder music box with Marquetry Pearl inlays. The box appears to have been restored at some point and the rest had been started… The finish is shiny as shown. The internals were tested as follows. It held a wind but did not move…. The roller seems tight or out of alignment. Upon loosening the brackets that hold the cylinder, it began to turn and play and then hung up… I could get it to turn by taking pressure off the cylinder but I didn’t want to create any damage.
