A Lovely Antique German Karl Griesbaum Singing Cardinal Bird Cage Automaton Music Box. I was told it was made by Karl Griesbaum but I can’t confirm because I’m not an expert. When the birds sings the beak moves while the head turns left and right. I’m not sure how long it’s supposed to sing but it’s about a few seconds. I fear to over wind it. The cage is designed with 5 twisted bars that are bent. There is one foot missing. The brass metal has normal light scratches. Or else the item is in good condition considering it was never serviced.
