For sale: A Stella GRAND disc music box. One 15 3/4 disc is included. The inner part spring, governor, etc. That moves the disc works perfectly. We inserted paper shims that holds the screw down to engage the rotating gear. We show this in one of the photos. These could be trimmed (so it looks better) and something else could be used to provide this function by the new owner. We see at least three teeth missing and there may be more missing on the hidden comb that cannot be viewed. The original metal plate is replaced by a meshed screen that can be viewed in the photos. The disc included does not sound that good so we wonder if the disc is functioning as well. We suspect it is and the missing teeth are the reason for many of the notes are not to be heard. The stop and start. Works as it should. If not, it is a beautiful addition to any antique décor as a decorative collector’s collectable. Thank you and hope you become a part of our family!
