Victorian Concert Roller Organ with 11 Wood Music Rolls Needs Adjusting-Antique
VICTORIAN CONCERT ROLLER ORGAN. This is nice old roller organ in a wood case with gold stenciling. It has 11 wood rolls with pins that create the music. There are numbers on some and titles on 2of them as follows. #707 “How Brightly Shines the Morning Star”. #706 written in pencil. #529 or #524 in pencil and can’t quite make it out. 1___(only the first number is there). No 127 “Watch on the Rhine” (this the one that is on the organ). All the remaining ones are completely void of any markings. There is a windup crank in the front. The roller organ appears complete, but does need some adjusting to make it play. As you can see 2 of the unattached parts are in a separate photo. Unfortunately, we have not found the time to tinker with it so have decided to offer it for sale so that someone else can tinker with it. The glass panel covering the rollers is missing as you can see in the photograph. Other than that the case is in beautiful condition. This was well taken care of in a private home.
