For your consideration is this beautiful Music Box from Germany. It is a unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted. It features an angel playing the pipe organ and 2 angels above are playing the fanfare to it. This lovely detailed music box was made in the Erzgebirge region in the former East Germany by the famous company “Wendt & Kuhn”. The musical movement is a swiss Thorens. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: “Ihr Kinderlein kommet”. To wind it up, just turn the key on the back clockwise. There is a stopper next to the key, too. The music box is in great condition and complete, but the blue angel’s horn broke off. Otherwise the colors are still vibrant and the paint is in great shape. Please look at all pictures and zoom in. Dates to the 1980s and is marked with the red expertic/Erzgebirge label from that time period. It measures about 5 1/2″ tall and 4″ wide and 3 1/2. Comes from a clean and smoke free home.
