For your consideration is this really beautifully detailed Music Box from Germany. It is a unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted by the well-known Steinbach company. It features Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus surrounded by musical angels. When the music is playing, the upper platform rotates. The musical movement is a. Movement and it plays: “Silent night”. To wind it up, just turn the key. There is a stopper on the side, too, this does work but upon testing I have noticed that only after a certain amount of rotations will it stop. The music box is in good working condition, there is some damage that include missing wings on 3 front angles with one more angle missing 1 wing, mother mary is missing an arm, & 2 stars are missing on top of the arch. These imperfections will be clearly shown in pics. The paint is bright and shiny. There are only few paint chips on the base and platform. Please look at all pictures and zoom in. This music box is rare, not new and perfect, but charming.
