Reuge Sainte Croix 2/36 Plays The Blue Danube And Clair De Lune Made 9-7-1967
This is a Reuge Sainte Croix Music-box with a 36 note movement with two songs. This sweet and beautiful piece plays “The Blue Danube” and “Clair de Lune”. I cannot stress enough just how beautiful the sound coming out of this little, box is. The deep rich tones this music-box makes are simply gorgeous to hear. The scene on the top of the piece appears to be a picture of a dockyard painting I believe. Also the wood on this piece is very high gloss, and beautiful, had a hard time getting pictures without glare on them, so they are not perfect. In the interior of the box where the movement is, it is dated Sept. So this piece is almost 60 years old at this point. It measure in at 5″ long, by 3″ tall, by 4 deep. It works perfectly, it has one little mark above the hinge on the back side of the box, and this can be clearly seen in the pictures, it is very much in my opinion not a big deal, as the main beauty and worth is in the movement. Thanks for looking, and have a wonderful day. Reasonable offers are always welcome.
