ESTATE SALE FIND: Vintage wooden music box and jewelry holder, shaped like a miniature 9-drawer dresser / armoire. Would make a nice jewelry box or piece of doll furniture. Footed and lined with a beautiful green velvet material, it’s an antique piece with a lot of character. The Music Box mechanism is in good working condition, operated by winding up manually from the back of the box or by pulling out the center top drawer. Made in Japan likely around the 1960s – not much else is known, as it seems there aren’t many of these around anymore. Please review photos before purchasing – I would say it’s still in pretty fair condition considering it’s vintage and probably has a storied past, but there are definitely signs of age and use, including scratches, scuffs, and other wear marks as shown. It definitely has a lot of life left in it though, and I would love for it to go to someone who will appreciate its charm and craftsmanship. Dimensions are approximately 18.75″ L, 7.75″ W, 9.25 H.
