Bremond Geneva Music Box is 44 long, 16 deep and 12 high overall. It was part of the estate of a district judge in Bucks County, PA. The case is made from book matched Burled Elm veneers with contrasting inlays. There are three interchangeable cylinders with a built-in drawer for storage. The size of each roll is 18 from tip to tip. Each cylinder plays eight Aires with an impressive sound. The original music index is mounted under the lid and the works sit below an interior glass door. There is a Bremond Geneva metal label and the numbers 19968 over 10 are marked on the metal works. A Zither attachment is included along with the original instruction sheet for changing cylinders. It is in good used condition overall and the finish shows a nice aged patina with small marks and several fine scratches. There are small repairs to the veneered surface, and a cosmetic repair on the underside of the top at the lock catch (see photo). The comb is intact with no lost teeth. There are areas of tarnish on the cylinders and metal works. It winds and runs although it does not appear to have been serviced in a while.
