Here’s a hard to find antique original late 1800’s era Criterion 4 wind up music box player. This plays the 15 3/4 discs and is a single comb machine. It does play and sounds great, however the start stop lever only works occasionally, I did not investigate further. It also sometimes just stops playing, if I push the disc along it will start again and play for awhile. I also heard some clicking sounds sometimes when playing. I did not see any broken teeth on the star wheels. The cabinet has several small dings as shown but not too distracting. One of the feet is not original but is the right height, it does sit level. 8 discs are included, a few have oxidation on them, they are dusty from storage. The discs included are. 4120 Hunter’s Chorus. 4432 At a Georgia Camp Meeting. (has a couple large oxidation spots). 4163 A Hot Time in the Old Town (has a few small oxidation spots). 4275 Ben Hur Chariot Race March (has a few small oxidation spots). 4044 Dinorah Shadow Dance (has large oxidized area on the bottom side). 4516 Alice Where Art Thou. 4610 Hands Across the Sea March. 4750 Florodora, Tell Me Pretty Maiden. The cabinet measures just under 22″ wide by just under 20″ deep front to back and a bit over 12 tall with the lid closed, and weighs about 55lbs.
