It was handcrafted in the late 1980’s by a local Chicago artist. The horse is made out of a resin material and hand painted to look distressed. The pole is an antique brass. The base is crafted out of wood and includes a music box winder that plays the song “It’s a Small World”. The horse can be lifted off of the brass pole as well as out of the base. It is lightweight and not mean’t for actual sitting/riding on. It is a decorative piece only! The whole stand is 61 high. The horse itself is 27″w X 22″h. The base is 15″w X 9″h.
